Personal Truth

It's been almost 3-1/2 years since I left the religious group I was committed to for over 28 years.  It's been a little over 2 years since I began a journey of Christian deconversion, so to speak. I am still unclear regarding my spiritual beliefs. I am learning that I do have opinions; yet I do not want to be so opinionated that I'm closed to reasonable options. I am learning to be aware of my personal truth in various areas of life. I am learning how to trust myself and to allow others that same benefit. Recently, I even attended an open mic afternoon at a local coffee shop where I shared my own writings. Though it may seem small, it is a huge step for me and 'proof' that I am healing; to voice my personal truths.
